Teaching

I teach both privately and in workshops, while offering sizable choices in your visual and photographic expansion.

Ultimately let's talk to see if we are a good fit, and then we can narrow your interests into foundational learning steps that work for you.

A sample of topics to explore:

  • Techniques: lens, aperture, shutter choices, manual and auto choices, metering, the digital world or film.

  • Creativity: lighting, composition, texture, b/w and color systems, perspective. I'm a great teacher in here, decades of experience and being a licensed therapist and creative facilitator,I'm confident I'll connect with your learning style, if not, I'll be clear with you.

  • How to learn to see to make vs take images, from within yourself.

  • The digital darkroom: Photoshop, Lightroom or your favorite.

  • Portfolio critique, homework assignments.

  • Printing options: B/w archival darkroom, digital: Giclee', metal, acetate, canvas, glass surfaces.
